I’m Amy, a stay at home mum of one busy 2yr old boy
I live in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney NSW Australia. I started The clever duck to provide an online resource for parents of creative play idea’s to do with the under three’s. I am passionate about the importance of play in early childhood development and as a mum of an under three myself I found it hard to find specific sites catering to this age group. I love craft and being creative! it keeps my son happy and keeps me sane.
When my son was 8 months old (now 2) we joined a local playgroup, its alot of fun for the kids and has been a real sanity saver. I really wish I’d known about it much sooner, It’s one of the things that inspired me to start this blog.
I have an interest in early childhood education and am looking into study in this area with an aim to eventually complete a Bachelor of Education – early childhood. One day! the juggle of study and motherhood is not an easy one
